A crop for the soil, and the harvest tool goes.
- Watercress. Unlocks at Level 30 with the Mill, grows in thirty seconds, and sells for one Sigil. It is not a crop for the Market. Grind ten of it at the Mill with a drop of water and you get two Green Manure. A ripe field of it never looks like one stamp repeated: each plant picks one of four shapes.
- Green Manure. Spread it on tilled soil and the next harvest there comes up double, bees and blessings included. Rarer cress makes rarer manure, and rarer manure lasts longer: Common one harvest, Uncommon two, Rare three, Mythic five, Dreamlike eight. It is never a bigger multiplier. Save it for the slow crops; on wheat it is a waste. The Mill's water cost is the throttle, so watering and grinding stay a real choice for the same drop. Green Manure takes the Mill's second rung, so Rice Flour moves to Mill level 3; a mill already at level 2 grinds it again one level on.
- The Manure tool takes the harvest tool's place. Tap to arm it with the lowest tier you hold, long-press for the tiers you hold (manure keeps to the tool, never your bag), then tap or swipe across tilled soil. The badge shows what you are spreading and how many are left.
- The harvest tool is retired. A ripe crop has always harvested on a tap, and with a seed in hand a swipe harvests ripe tiles and plants the empty ones, so the tool only ever did that with nothing in hand. Two goose lines now say so.
- The goose explains all of this at Level 30, with two quick goals: grind one, spread one. Tap a growing crop and its banner now shows the soil's wet time and any manure on the tile, so you can see when to water again and how many doubled harvests are left.
