v0.18.2: Tutorial fixes

Fixes to the goose's lessons, from a full pass over the tutorial.

  • Goose lines wait a moment before moving on. A line now ignores taps for just over half a second after it appears, so the goose's lessons no longer vanish when you are tilling or planting quickly.
  • Goose orders have no time limit. The three goose orders and the bread order now wait as long as you need, and nothing you have delivered to them is lost.
  • Lessons wait for placements. The goose no longer starts a new lesson while you are placing something, so the apple tree always arrives in your hand instead of being dropped behind the raspberry pot.
  • Green Manure from the first Mill level. The Mill's first level now unlocks Green Manure alongside Wheat Flour, so the manure lesson never points at a locked recipe. The second level gives +3% Thrifty Cook in its place.
  • The goose points at the right row. The Structures menu scrolls to the pot, tree, barrel or hut the goose is talking about, and the hut task now points at the Structures card.
  • The send-off can't be missed. If you sold your first bread instead of delivering it, the goose's graduation still comes once the bread order is filled, up to Level 30.
  • More rain while learning to water. The first watering lesson now brings wet clouds regularly, so you can't run out of water before it is done.
  • Smaller fixes. The task box's helper no longer repeats itself once a task is done, the Market keeps wheat on screen during the selling lesson, the sell buttons are pointed at one at a time, and the goose no longer sends you to the Market before it opens.

Earlier updates

  1. v0.18.1: FixesFixes and polish on the way to the first release candidate.
  2. v0.18.0: Minis upgrade the GrandThe Mini stations get a job. Every Mini you place is now a bench for its Grand building, and the Grand no longer grows with station level. One rule covers all four: a Mini is how you upgrade the Grand.
  3. v0.17.3: Fixes
  4. v0.17.2: FixesFixes from the first day of 0.17.1 on device.
  5. v0.17.1: Honk makes sure it gets doneA tester reached Level 7 with a Level 5 goose task still pinned, after skipping the dialog that explained it. This release is what the goose does about that: every pinned task can now be finished with three taps on its box, and the lessons that used to block the screen no longer do.
  6. v0.17.0: Watercress and Green ManureA crop for the soil, and the harvest tool goes.
  7. v0.16.1: A small follow-upThe daily chest goes, and a rain barrel takes its place; the rest is the first of the early-game polish.
  8. v0.16.0: Bees pollinateThis release makes the three garden structures simple, and carries five fences and a sweep of small fixes that were waiting in an unreleased 0.15.2. Nothing since 0.15.1 has reached TestFlight until now.
  9. v0.15.1: Every idol in its own likenessThis release started as a fix for the Crop Idols, which arrived in v0.15.0 wearing one shared statue with a crop icon floating above it, and grew into a pass on how the farm looks: a new app icon, two new paths and four new fences, with the old paths redrawn.
  10. v0.15.0: A smoother day on the farmThis release plants the first thing in the game whose payoff is measured in hours: an apple tree, gifted at Level 4. The rest is a quality-of-life pass on watering, which never felt like it did much, and on the first crops after wheat, which were priced to keep you farming wheat.
  11. v0.14.4: A gentler first weekThis release is almost entirely about the first few hours. Several things shaped for a much later farm were arriving anyway — the rare-drop blessings, the Sunday festival, the daily streak bonus — and the goose's own first orders were asking for the slowest crop available at the time.
  12. v0.14.3: A level 7 wall comes downA fix for a level 7 wall, and a missing lesson at level 6.
  13. v0.14.2: Watered soil does its jobWatered soil has not been doing its job. A crop planted on ground that was already wet grew at the dry rate, and watering a crop that was already in the ground did nothing for up to half a minute. This release fixes that, along with the same fault where it reached beehives and the Harvest Shrine, and a separate one where the goose handed over its gifts behind an open menu. The goose also learns to set two goals at once, and talks less at the start.
  14. v0.14.1: The tutorial gets unstuckA fix for a tutorial deadlock that could strand a new farm at level 4.
  15. v0.14.0: The middle closes up, and berries earn their keepTwo halves to this one. The long middle of the game closes up, so everything you are ever given now arrives by level 500 instead of trickling out to 900. And the three berries stop being something you sell: blackberries feed the production buildings, raspberries buy copies, and grapes buy time.
  16. v0.13.1: Benches, blessings and lamplightTwo halves to this one. Stations stop selling you the thing you should be earning, and the early blessings stop running out. Plus a pot that takes a fortnight to fill, a vine that takes six days, and the first lamp that knows when it is dark.
  17. v0.13.0: The stations get their own islandsThe stations move out onto islands of their own, each with a one-tile Mini you can place at home, and they stop starting everything at once. Around that: somewhere to put your surplus, two new kinds of order, and a plant that looks after itself from level 3.
  18. v0.12.1: A goose, polishedA quick polish pass on the goose from playing 0.12.0. The hut becomes a plain home — dreams are collected from the goose himself — his handfuls start smaller, and he learns to swim around corners.
  19. v0.12.0: The goose moves inHonk moves in — and takes over the teaching. Finishing his starter orders now earns you the Goose Hut and a resident goose who paddles your shores, naps on the water, and dreams up free crops. Around him, every level from 3 to 8 gets its own goose mission, ending in a proper graduation. Placing things gets one consistent ghost preview, and fences and hedges learn to stand on paths.
  20. v0.11.3: Honk's origin storyHonk gets an origin story, and the tutorials catch up with reality. First launch now opens on a short comic of a goose dreaming bigger, and behind it rides a polish pass from play-testing the new goose flow: tutorial lines match how the game plays now, menus opened from the pedestal close back to it, Honk's starter orders wear his own box in the Orders panel, and the quiet stretch between levels 2 and 3 becomes a guided selling mission with first Mastery as its own moment along the way.
  21. v0.11.2: Hedges, a real daily chest, and Honk's todo listThe garden grows in, the daily chest earns its name, and Honk picks up a clipboard. Hedges arrive as a whole new decoration family with a wrought-iron Metal Fence alongside, the daily reward screen is rebuilt from scratch around a ladder that never resets, and a pinned goose todo box now walks new players from their first till to their first orders — with the goose serving the first three orders himself.
  22. v0.11.1: Orders take the front seatOrders step into the spotlight, the field art gets sharper, and the game grows its first accessibility options. The Orders pill becomes a proper button on the home screen that glows gold when a delivery is worth the trip, every crop now plants its own seed, and Settings gains a whole Accessibility tab.
  23. v0.11.0: The workshops move inThe workshops move in. The four production stations leave their separate floating area and become buildings you place on your own islands, a new farmable Workshops isle arrives at level 8, the travel map is redrawn from scratch as a painted sea chart, and every menu and reference page wears the painted look.
  24. v0.10.1: Pick up your buildingsStructures get the handling they deserved. Moving a building is now a proper pick-up-and-place: hold to lift it into a ghost, drag it where you like, and confirm with a tick. Around it, a set of polish and balance changes from the first days of playing v0.10.0.
  25. v0.10.0: The structures releaseThe structures release. Beehives, Totemblossoms, Cherryblossoms, and the Harvest Shrine arrive far earlier, get themed menus of their own, earn their currencies from real harvests instead of a background timer, and finally explain what every upgrade does. Two long-standing Harvest Shrine problems are fixed along the way.
  26. v0.9.2: One smooth climbThe level ladder is rebuilt to climb in one smooth line. Until now the cost of a level zig-zagged: it rose steeply to level 10, fell to a tenth of that at level 11, drifted for a hundred levels, then jumped at every hundredth. Now every level from 7 upward simply asks a little more than the one before, all the way to 910.
  27. v0.9.1: The side isles catch upThe side isles catch up, and the home island raises its ceiling. Until now the home island did nearly all the growing while the other isles stayed small, and each isle's crop speciality was easy to miss entirely. This release gives every side isle a growth ladder of its own, doubles the home island's growth pace, brings the uncapped Land Deed into the mid-game, and puts each isle's favoured crops on the map, in the unlock message, in the Field Guide, and on a new reference page.
  28. v0.9.0: Music, a menu makeover, Orders on the farm, and a retuned paceArchipelago has a soundtrack, and a new look inside every menu. The game's first piece of original music, Harvest Loop, now plays across the game, with a new Audio section in Settings to control it. And the menus have been redrawn in the game's own hand-drawn style, with the Market, Field Guide, and Blessings each getting a character of their own. Underneath it all the pace of the game is retuned: levelling asks more from level 6 up, orders move out of the Market into their own panel on the farm screen and are filled by hand-delivering goods, and the new Crop Orders keep your fields pointed at a goal while you climb.
  29. v0.8.0: The Workshops level upThe Workshops get lives of their own. Each station — the Furnace, Mill, Juicer, and Cauldron — now levels up as you use it, unlocking its recipes, discounts, and perks by cooking rather than by farming, with an open-ended prestige loop past the top. Recipes cost a fraction of what they did, slots are bought with Sigils, and the Blessings shop hands its entire Processing section over to the stations, with every Sigil refunded.
  30. v0.7.0: Every island is its own placeEvery island is now its own place, and Honk finally points at what he means. This release grew into a large one: the world is restructured around a new map, the goose tutorials can be replayed and now highlight the control they are describing, the kitchens gain ten new recipes, Potato and Rice are filled out to match the other crops, and a performance overhaul underneath keeps even enormous fully-planted islands running smoothly.
  31. v0.6.7: Drag to lay paths and fencesLaying decorations is now a single stroke, and rivers are cheaper and reward grouping. Paths and fences paint by swipe, the same way tilling and watering already do, so a long route or fence line goes down in one drag instead of tap by tap.
  32. v0.6.6: Crop-speed ladders and connecting pathsYour crop-speed blessings no longer make you wait. Once a crop's speed blessing unlocks, its whole tier ladder is available to buy at once, so you can pour Sigils into faster crops as fast as you can earn them rather than waiting for the next level gate. Paths get a visual upgrade too: they now connect into continuous walkways as you lay them, instead of sitting as separate tiles.
  33. v0.6.5: Update checksArchipelago can now tell you when an update is waiting. On launch the game checks whether a newer version is available and, when one is, points you to it — either a small dismissable notice for an optional update, or a required-update screen when a version is needed to keep playing.
  34. v0.6.4: Tilled soil that matches its islandTilled soil now belongs to the island it sits on, and your tools reach every island. Freshly tilled ground takes on the colour of the island around it instead of one shared look, tilling, watering, and planting now work on any island rather than only the one you started on, and a processing island's menu opens with a tool still in hand.
  35. v0.6.3: A Blessings overhaul, and menu polishA reworking of how blessings are bought, with two refinements to the pedestal menu alongside. The Blessings shop now leans on one-time purchases you can clear off a list, a small set of upgrades that arrive in numbered tiers across the game, and a long-overdue pass over upgrade prices. The pedestal menu cards also float free of their panel, and the trophy marker above your pedestal is now a card you can tap.
  36. v0.6.2: A reworked pedestal menu, and moreA reworked pedestal menu, more character for the early islands, and a calmer sky. The ring of cards that fanned around the pedestal is now a clean grid you open from an orb that stays at the bottom of the screen, and your cards tell you when there is something new inside them. The early islands each get their own ground and shoreline, and the cloud cover overhead is thinner.
  37. v0.6.1: Early islands, new crops, and fencesA pass over the early game, a step toward the islands the name has always promised, and the first fences for your farm. Extra islands now arrive in the first stretch of play instead of waiting for the back half of the game, two new crops fill the long gap that used to sit between Carrot and Corn, every island now leans toward particular crops, and you can fence your fields from the Decorations menu.
  38. v0.6.0: The Harvest ShrineMass Sowing and Mass Reaping are retired this release. In their place is a new structure, the Harvest Shrine, that automates a patch of your island instead of the whole thing at once — so you can hand off the grind on part of your farm and keep the rest to tend by hand.
  39. v0.5.2: Tap to untill, plus fixesA small quality-of-life change to tilling, alongside a few fixes. You can now revert a tilled tile by tapping it again, which retires the separate Undo button that used to sit beside the Till tool.
  40. v0.5.1: Interactive status pills and a grass passTwo threads in this release: the status pills under the level bar all become interactive — the crops indicator flies you to your crops and flags what needs attention, the streak counter opens a panel of streak detail, and the production indicator opens your stations and reads more clearly — and a follow-up to 0.5.0's grass work brings more variety to the ground and fixes the repeating pattern the tiles could fall into.
  41. v0.5.0: Sugarcane, a sugar chain, and a daily chestA new crop joins the islands — sugarcane — and brings a whole sugar-refining chain with it, from raw cane to caramel and BBQ sauce. This release also adds a reason to check in each day, with a daily chest, a welcome-back recap, and streak rewards, plus a motion-and-readout pass and a fresh coat on the ground itself.
  42. v0.4.1: Build Paths, rivers, and islands that keep growingA substantial follow-up to v0.4.0 on three fronts: your main island now grows without limit and at a steadier pace, a new river system lets you shape and water your land, and the reworked upgrade path now has real build identity — you choose a Path and grow into it.
  43. v0.4.0: Performance & a new upgrade pathThis release pairs a performance overhaul with a reworked upgrade path. Large farms that once grew slow or unresponsive now stay smooth no matter how big they get, and the upgrades you work toward are reorganised into a clearer, better-paced climb.
  44. v0.3.1: The StoreThis release adds the Store — an optional way to top up your resources or pick up a permanent boost. Everything it offers can still be earned by playing; it is there for a faster start when you want one. It also reworks the Blessings shop so it points you toward what is worth buying next.
  45. v0.3.0: Move around freelyThis release rebuilds how you move around your islands, gives the world a fresh look to match, and adds new ways to make each island your own. Getting around used to feel stiff; now you grab the world and move it — drag to pan, pinch to zoom, and tap an island to dive in. The command wheel has been reorganized so your tools are easy to find, and a new Decorations menu lets you lay down paths to organize and beautify your land.
  46. v0.2.2: Early-game pacingThis update is all about pacing the early game. Levelling climbs more gradually at the start, and the features that used to land all at once now arrive one at a time — so there's room to learn each new system before the next one shows up. The second island also becomes something you claim, rather than something that simply appears.
  47. v0.2.1: The World MarketThis release lays the groundwork for a connected, shared marketplace and refines the early-game economy. It also turns crafting into a real crop sink and sharpens new-player onboarding.
  48. v0.1.2: Early fixesTwo early-beta fixes:
