v0.11.0: The workshops move in

The workshops move in. The four production stations leave their separate floating area and become buildings you place on your own islands, a new farmable Workshops isle arrives at level 8, the travel map is redrawn from scratch as a painted sea chart, and every menu and reference page wears the painted look.

  • Every station has its own look. The Furnace opens on ember-lit forge iron, the Juicer on citrus-grove lime, the Mill on wheat and flour-dusted timber, and the Cauldron on arcane brew violet, each with its own corner flourishes and painted buttons. Recipes, cooking slots, and prestige picks all work exactly as before.
  • Station menus rise as solid cards. The menu sheet now comes up in the station's own material with the painted frame around it, replacing the old translucent black panel.
  • Reference pages match their menus. Every info page now opens as a painted card: the Market's on stall timber, the Field Guide's on journal leather, Blessings on midnight, each structure's and station's on its own material, and the rest in the game's standard purple.
  • The map is redrawn as a painted sea chart. Isles sit as fixed illustrations on a tiled pixel ocean, headed by the Archipelago title and painted buttons. The chart is a stylised picture of the world, not a live copy: it no longer mirrors crops, growth, or the time of day.
  • Every isle is on the chart from day one. Isles you have not unlocked yet wait greyed-out under drifting fog and read ???; only the next isle in line shows what unlocks it. Claiming a new isle parts its fog and marks it with the gold ring.
  • Favoured crops sit on the art. Themed isles show their favoured-crop icons right on the illustration, so the bonus reads at a glance, and island tags slim down to just the name.
  • The sky clears over the chart. The drifting cloud layers, including the tappable water clouds, now stay out of the map view — the only clouds there are the fog banks over locked isles.
  • Stations live on your islands now. The Furnace, Mill, Juicer, and Cauldron are placeable structures with a 2x2 footprint — the old separate workshops area is gone. Your first Furnace arrives free, pre-placed on the new Workshops isle at level 8, a normal farmable island you can till and plant like any other.
  • Buy stations — and extras. The Mill, Juicer, and Cauldron are bought from the Structures menu once their level unlocks. You can even own several of the same station: each placed copy runs its own cooking queue, and duplicates get steeply pricier, costing Sigils plus goods from that station's own kitchen.
  • Stations behave like structures. Hold and drag to move one anywhere, even mid-cook — batches keep their timers. They animate while cooking, show the finished good as a badge when a batch is ready, and the copy you tap is the copy you cook in. Uprooting waits until its batches are collected.
  • Existing farms migrate on their own. Your unlocked stations are placed on the Workshops isle automatically, with any in-flight batches carried over intact.

With the workshops on the islands, the last separate corner of the game is gone — everything lives on the archipelago now. Tell me how station placement feels, whether a second furnace ever feels worth the price, and how the new chart reads at a glance.
