The daily chest goes, and a rain barrel takes its place; the rest is the first of the early-game polish.
- Watering arrives at Level 2. The water button, the wet clouds and the five starter Water Points used to wait for Level 4, five minutes in, so the first crops grew at half the speed they could. They now arrive with the second level, before the first sale, and Level 4 belongs to the apple tree alone. Farms parked at Level 2 or 3 receive their five points on next launch.
- The goose has something for the carrot wait. Once the first carrots are planted and watered, Honk points you at the Field Guide, where carrot Mastery and its bonus-drop chance live, so the five minutes have somewhere to go. Opening the guide yourself first skips the nudge.
- Carrots sell for 60 Sigils. A carrot sold for 40, which over its five minutes earned less per minute than free wheat, so the first crop the goose hands over was the slower way to everything. At 60 a carrot tile out-earns a wheat tile minute for minute, and a field left to grow while you are away pays properly on your return. Wheat is still the fastest way to level.
- The daily chest becomes a rain barrel. The chest was a screen; the barrel is a thing on your island. The goose hands one over at Level 6, once you have caught clouds and watered by hand. It fills with rain a point an hour and holds a day's worth, and you tap it at any time to take what is in it. A second barrel unlocks at Level 50 and another every 50 levels after, sold in Structures. Your login streak keeps its growing bonus on every sale; the chest's ladder, weekly Tilling Points and milestone jackpots retire with it.
- The Trophies lesson waits for the Trophies tap. Earning your first achievement used to start the Trophies lesson on the spot, which at Level 3 landed on top of the harvest, Blessings and pot lessons already queued there. It now starts the first time you open Trophies; the badge on the card is the invitation.
- The Structures card stops flickering. It opened at Level 3 for the gifted pot, greyed to Level 6 the moment the pot was placed, opened again at Level 4 for the tree and greyed again. It now opens with the first pot and stays open, so a second pot is on the shelf from the start.
