v0.17.1: Honk makes sure it gets done

A tester reached Level 7 with a Level 5 goose task still pinned, after skipping the dialog that explained it. This release is what the goose does about that: every pinned task can now be finished with three taps on its box, and the lessons that used to block the screen no longer do.

  • Honk makes sure every task gets done. Tap a pinned goose task once and the brackets flash on its target. Tap it again and the goal line becomes a one-line how-to, which the goose says aloud. Tap it a third time and Honk does it for you, or sets it up so the next tap is the action. Skipping a dialog now pins its task with the how-to already showing, and a task left untouched for ninety seconds shows it on its own.
  • The goose pokes in from the edge. Hints, and the lessons for the Market, Blessings, Field Guide, Items and Trophies, now arrive one line at a time from a goose peeking in at the left of the screen, with nothing dimmed and nothing blocked. The story beats keep their full dialog.
  • The brackets follow you into the menu. With a task pinned, the corner brackets move from the pedestal card to the tab, the row and the button in turn: the carrot's star in the crop picker, wheat and its Sell button in the Market, Wheat Speed's Buy in Blessings, the recipe and Cook at the furnace, the pot rows in Structures, Deliver and Claim on the goose's orders.
  • A held bar says why. When a level is waiting on that level's goose missions, the experience bar reads Finish Honk's task, and tapping it asks the goose for help. Favouriting carrots is now one of the Level 5 missions, one goal pins at a time unless two are meant to run together, and the goose's live order is never hidden behind them.

If Honk ever leaves you stuck, tell me exactly where.
