Pots and trees
Raspberry and blackberry pots, the grape vine and the apple tree, and what their fruit is for.
Pots
A pot grows fruit by itself: no tilling, no seeds, no water. It adds one fruit at a time until it's full, then waits for you. It keeps growing while the game is closed, so a pot that fills in an hour is full when you come back tomorrow. Tap it to put everything it holds into your bag.

Pot fruit counts as a real harvest. Each one rolls its own rarity, gives XP and adds to that crop's mastery. If your bag fills up, the fruit that didn't fit stays in the pot.

You're given your first raspberry pot and your first apple tree. After that, the first one you buy costs 400
(raspberry) or 15,000
(apple), and each price is multiplied by the "Each extra" figure for every one of that kind you already have. Fill times are before mastery.
Picking up a pot you bought refunds what the last one of that kind cost. A gifted pot refunds nothing, but you get it back to place again.
What mastery does
Each pot gets better as you raise its crop's mastery, but not in the same way.
- Raspberry and blackberry pots grow bigger. They hold 1 and 4 more berries for every 10 mastery levels. They don't grow faster, so a bigger pot just lets you stay away longer.
- The grape vine grows faster. It always holds 3 bunches of 12 grapes, but every mastery level shortens the wait. At mastery 50 a bunch takes about half as long as at the start.
- The apple tree grows bigger and faster together, so it always fills in about a day. A tree you check once a day is never wasted.
The speed-up divides the grow time by 1 + 0.064 × mastery0.72. It never stops improving.

The Reserve |
Once you own a berry pot or vine, its fruit can turn up in your orders: raspberries and blackberries in several kinds, grapes only in Royal Contracts. Apples are never asked for. Berries sell for very little on purpose: each one has a job, below. Apples are the exception, worth selling from the day the tree arrives.
Blackberries: station fuel
Stoke any crafting station with blackberries and its batches cook 25% faster. Each Common blackberry adds 1 minute of fuel, measured in cooking time, and fuel is only used when a batch starts. A full blackberry pot is 40 minutes of faster cooking. More on the Stations and crafting page.
The Duplicator and the Reserve

Two machines, bought in the Structures menu. Each works on one thing at a time and finishes while you're away. Tap it when it's done to collect.
The Duplicator (L100, 3×1)
Pay in raspberries to copy one item from your bag. You keep the original and get a second one.
- Cost: raspberries equal to the item's base sell price, times five for each rarity step of the item. A Common wheat worth 5
costs 5 Common raspberries. - Time: a tenth of how long the item takes to make from scratch, ingredients included.
- Price: 150,000
for the first, doubling for each one after.
The Reserve (L160, 2×1)
Pay in grapes to age up to 20 of one item one rarity step, for example Rare to Mythic.
- Cost: 1 grape for every 10,000
of value the ageing adds, and always at least 1. - Time: 1, 2, 4 or 8 times as long as making the item, for Uncommon, Rare, Mythic and Dreamlike and beyond. Never under a minute or over 20 days.
- Limit: it can take an item one step past the rarity your mastery has unlocked. From Dreamlike on, there's no mastery limit: it ages Dreamlike to Dreamlike+1, +1 to +2, and so on. This is one of the only ways to get fruit above Dreamlike.
- Price: 400,000
for the first, doubling for each one after.
The Reserve holds your items while it works. If you cancel a run you get the items back, but not the berries. The same goes for the Duplicator's raspberries.
Neither machine takes Green Manure or watercress.
