Levels and islands
How you level up, what each level gives you, how your islands grow, and the long climbs of crop mastery and trophies.
Player level
You earn XP for every fruit you pick, every batch you craft, most orders and many of Honk's tasks. The level cap is 910. Each level needs a little more XP than the one before. The first eight levels are the tutorial: see Getting started.
Some level-ups are big ones, with a pop-up and the headline unlocks: levels 1 to 10, then mostly every 10th level. The levels in between drop a small banner with a handful of Sigils or a point.
The Leveling tool charts the whole curve and works out how long any level takes with the crops you grow. Here are some waypoints:

What level-ups give
Every level pays something, in Sigils, Tilling Points or Water Points. The big levels add unlocks: new crops, pots, structures, stations and islands. The small levels in between take turns. Here are levels 11 to 20:
| Level | Reward |
|---|---|
| L11 | +220 |
| L12 | +220 |
| L13 | +1 Tilling Point |
| L14 | Meadow Isle unlocked. Wheat, Carrot & Potato grow 20% faster there · +220 |
| L15 | Unlocked Potato · +450 |
| L16 | +1 Tilling Point |
| L17 | +220 |
| L18 | +1 Water Point |
| L19 | +220 |
| L20 | +1,210 |
Every level that unlocks something, and the full reward for each one, is in the Leveling tool.
How islands grow
Your home island starts at 5×5. Each time it grows it gains a full ring: a new row or column on all four sides, so it stays square and your first plot stays in the middle.
- Home island: a ring at levels 6, 10, 30, 60, 90, 100, then every 10 levels up to 900. That's 177×177 by level 900 from level-ups alone.
- Every other island: a ring at levels 150, 210, 270 and every 60 levels after that, up to 870.
- Level 800: every island grows a ring at once.
Growing it yourself
Some Blessings add a ring to your home island each time you buy them. See Blessings.
| Blessing | From | Rings | First costs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plot Extension I | L10 | 5 | 400 |
| Plot Extension II | L110 | 5 | 4,000 |
| Plot Extension III | L260 | 5 | 15,000 |
| Land Deed | L355 | No limit | 600,000 |
Each Plot Extension needs another Blessing first, so some open later than their level. Land Deed is the long-term Sigil sink: each one costs more than the last, and there is no size cap.
The islands
New islands rise from the sea as you level. Open the map to sail between them. An island's favoured crops grow 20% faster there. The four station islands each come with their Grand station already built.

The Second Island Deed
Orchard Isle is the one island you buy. The Second Island Deed is a keystone Blessing from L210 for 150,000
, once you own Corn Boom. However late you buy it, the island arrives with every ring it would have grown since L210.
Crop mastery
Every crop has its own mastery level, from 1 to 1000. It rises with every fruit of that crop you pick: 6 fruits for mastery 1, 105 for 10, 79,758 for 100. The Field Guide shows each crop's level.
Mastery does three things:
- Rarer fruit. A crop drops Uncommon from mastery 25, Rare from mastery 75, Mythic from mastery 200, Dreamlike from mastery 500. See Crops and rarity.
- A specialty. Each crop gets better at one thing with every level, such as faster wheat or more carrots, and shares a quarter of that with your other crops.
- Structures. A Crop Idol for that crop at mastery 50, and a Harvest Shrine at mastery 200.
Milestones
Every 100 mastery levels a crop pays out:
| Mastery | Reward |
|---|---|
| 100 | +1 Tilling Point · +5 Water Points · +10,000 |
| 200 | +1 Tilling Point · +10 Water Points · +30,000 |

| 600 | +3 Tilling Points · +100 Water Points · +1,500,000 |

| 1000 | +10 Tilling Points · +1000 Water Points · +150,000,000 |
Master Farmer
On top of that, each field crop adds to a farm-wide bonus as its mastery passes these marks. Every mark a crop passes adds its row, and all 12 field crops add into the same pool. Pots and trees don't count.
| Mastery | Sell price | XP | Rare luck | Water a day |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | +5% | +5% | ||
| 100 | +10% | +10% | +1% | |
| 250 | +20% | +20% | +3% | |

Trophies
Trophies are long-term goals for harvesting, planting, crafting, orders, levels and more. Most come in chains: finish one tier and the next opens. Each pays Sigils, Tilling Points, Water Points or XP.
Open them from the Trophies card on the pedestal. When a reward is waiting, a card floats above the pedestal: tap it to go straight there and claim.
